In May 2024, LIBER, in collaboration with the Library of the Freie Universität, Berlin, Germany will run its fourth Leadership Journées Programme exclusively for library directors. The theme will be Trusted Leadership in Challenging Times.
The 2024 series will take place at the Library of the Freie Universität, Berlin, Germany, Wednesday 29 May – Friday 31 May 2024.
The Programme is designed for 20-25 Library directors who are already in leadership positions in their institutions and who are looking ahead at delivering strategic change as libraries and institutions redefine themselves in an ever-changing information and social environment.

How to apply
Applications for the LIBER Journées 2024 are now open!
To apply, applicants must provide the below information before the 30th of November 2023:
- Completed application form
- Curriculum Vitae, not exceeding 2 pages
- Covering letter/motivation letter, at most 2 pages. Include topics that you want to discuss with other directors during the discussion sessions.
Please consult the Strategic Vision document before beginning your application.
Interested candidates should complete, print and sign the application form and send it in a .pdf format with all the aforementioned documents attached, to: calls@libereurope.org.
Applicants will be notified of the status of their application by the end of January 2024.
