Liber Quarterly publiceert case study over UKB’s succesvolle repository open access pilot

In 2018 startten de Nederlandse universiteiten op initiatief van UKB met de open access pilot ‘You Share, We Take Care’. Doel was om het delen van kort wetenschappelijk werk (bijvoorbeeld artikelen en boekhoofdstukken) via de instellingsrepository te stimuleren via de implementatie van Artikel 25fa van de Auteurswet. Drie jaar later gebruiken alle universiteiten de resultaten van deze pilot met succes in hun Open Access strategie. Een case studie over dit UKB initiatief, en de periode van implementatie na de pilot , is onlangs gepubliceerd in Liber Quarterly.
Case study report on UKB’s successful repository open access pilot in Liber Quarterly
In 2018 UKB initiated the open access pilot ‘You Share, We Take Care’. Aim was to stimulate the sharing of short academic publications (e.g. articles and book chapters) in institutional repositories by implementing Article 25fa of the Dutch Copyright Act. Now, three years later, all universities are using the results of this pilot successfully in their open access strategy. A case study report of the pilot and the period afterwards implementing university policies, is published recently in Liber Quarterly
