Copyright

The Copyright working group focuses on professionalisation, knowledge sharing and coordination of the Copyright Information Points.

Benchmarking

The thirteen university libraries use benchmarking to measure and compare their key figures.

Libraries and Open and Online Education

This UKB/SHB working group focuses on strengthening the role of libraries in supporting education and the development of open education and open educational resources.

Special Collections

The Special Collections working group is responsible for the collaboration between the various departments and sectors of special collections in the library world in the Netherlands.

CAMBIN

CAMBIN strives to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of documentary scientific information provision within academic medicine.

Collection Management

The Collection Management working group aims to coordinate collection formation and collection management so as to be able to offer a high-quality range of scientific information nationally.

Content and Metadata Management

The Content and Metadata Management working group focuses on setting up the entire process from acquisition to making available (FAIR), including making metadata findable and usable.

Digital Services

The Digital Services working group monitors innovative developments, starts initiatives for cooperation in this area and prepares policy in the field of innovation in the digital library.

Digital Scholarship and Skills

The Digital Scholarship & Skills working group aims to improve the digital scholarship and skills activities of the UKB institutions through collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Information Literacy

The UKB/SHB Information Literacy working group deals with all aspects in the field of information literacy.

Licences

The Licences working group represents the interests of the UKB institutions for the widest possible access on the most favourable terms.

Open Access

The Open Access working group focuses on finding common goals and aligning University Libraries’ action points in the field of Open Access.

Public Services

The Public Services working group is concerned with the transition of the library provision, in which the physical library evolves into a Library Learning Centre.

Research Data

The Research Data working group aims to exchange knowledge within UKB and to transfer this knowledge to the university research community.

Research Support

The Research Support working group is a ‘safe space’ for the heads of the Research Support Department of the university libraries.

UKBsis

UKBsis focuses on realising sustainable deals with publishers for access to scientific information and Open Access publishing.

User Experience

The User Experience working group works on community building, knowledge sharing and collaboration with regard to the broad spectrum of UX activities within the university libraries.
