In addition to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universiteitenvannederland.nl\/actueel\/nieuws\/nederland-koploper-met-95-procent-open-access-maar-vernieuwing-strategie-is-nodig\">news release<\/a>, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universiteitenvannederland.nl\/files\/publications\/Brief%20aan%20OCW%20monitoring%20open%20access%20cijfers%202024.pdf\">report <\/a>was presented to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. The report shows that the Open Access percentage of peer-reviewed articles by authors affiliated with a Dutch University or University Medical Center (UCM) has increased from 92% in 2023 to 95% in 2024. It is the first time that the monitor is based on Open Science principles. The original source data, including used Crossref, DOAJ and Unpaywall data is shared at <a href=\"https:\/\/zenodo.org\/records\/17358443\">UKBsis Open Access Monitoring 2024 &#8211; Open Source [Datasets]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This data includes a quality check done by UKB and institutions. Original, automated open access categories are shown per DOI. If applicable, a corrected category is added manually, including a URL that confirms the change.
